BMR is the minimum calories needed to sustain life at rest, while TDEE includes daily activities and exercise.
How much should I reduce for weight loss?▼
Generally, eating 500kcal less than your TDEE leads to about 0.5kg loss per week. Reducing more than 1000kcal is not recommended for health.
