What is progressive (tiered) pricing?▼
A pricing system where the per-kWh rate increases as you use more electricity. Residential power has 3 tiers: up to 200kWh, 201-400kWh, and 401+kWh.
Why are there additional taxes and surcharges?▼
Electricity bills legally include VAT (10%) and Power Industry Fund (3.7%). Additionally, climate/environment and fuel adjustment surcharges are applied separately.
